Hochiki to preview new emergency lighting product at Intersec 2023

Intersec opens its doors this coming January and Hochiki Middle East FZE, part of the Hochiki Group, will be giving visitors to the event a preview of the FIREscape Nepto emergency lighting system.

Ahead of the launch in 2023, visitors who are looking to upgrade or install emergency lighting products can get a sneak peak of this environmentally friendly, feature rich, cost effective, compliant emergency lighting system. Moving away from bulk heads and central battery systems, Hochiki Middle East’s offering is a completely unique, cost effective and fully compliant system. FIREscape Nepto is based around an addressable, emergency lighting control panel with intelligent self-contained LED luminaires and exit signage connected via screened, extra-low voltage (40V) cabling.

The whole system is networkable, fully self-monitored and self-testing with a central point of control, with the added benefit of cloud-based interrogation and reporting.

These features, along with integral batteries with a 10-year lifespan, make installation and maintenance of the FIREscape Nepto system quick and easy.

The Hochiki Middle East team will also be on hand to demo the Latitude system. With huge investments made in the research and development of this product, led by customer insight, it combines the very latest in hardware and software and is the company’s market leading control and indication system.

Sophisticated enough to operate anywhere in the world, in multiple languages, across all manner of applications – from schools and hospitals, skyscrapers filled with thousands of office workers, apartment blocks and entertainment venues, cultural and commercial spaces as well as international travel ports, manufacturing warehouses and logistics hubs. The system has been designed to be simple to configure and easy to use by anyone, utilising touchscreen technology with a graphical user interface to help display vital information. It is EN approved and recently DBI certified for the Danish market following its EN54 Part 13 approval.

Commenting on attending the event, Hochiki Middle East Sales Manager, Mr Shahab Anjam said,

“We’re really excited to be here at Intersec to demo these leading life safety products to our customers face to face. The Middle East life safety market is rapidly evolving, and we are proud to be exhibiting at Intersec which is at the heart of industry conversations and strategy.”
