Life at Hochiki

Working as a Production Team Leader, I have the privilege to help my team grow their skills as operators, to produce high quality products as part of a team. Hochiki has also invested in myself with training courses and continued support. I feel proud to work for a company that values its workers as well as producing fire detection equipment that saves lives.

This includes learning from others and visiting other manufacturing sites, including our factory in Japan. I have some great relationships with my colleagues, which make for an enjoyable working environment.

Stephen Weekes - Engineering Team Leader

I have been working at Hochiki Italia since 2019 as Regional Sales Manager - North-West area. This role comes with a great deal of responsibility, but at the same time, it is truly rewarding to see the brand grow within the Italian fire safety market. I enjoy working at Hochiki because there is a strong team spirit, and it is very inspiring to be part of an international company. Furthermore, I know that I am offering my customers reliable, high-quality technology, and that is essential to me.

As a member of the Production Engineering team my role is focused on maintaining and repairing the machines used on our Surface Mount Line and the Production Shopfloor. I have worked for Hochiki for just over 3 years, starting as an Assembly Operator and then progressing into the Engineering Team.
