FireNET Plus UL-Listed Fire Alarm Panel
At Hochiki, we understand that when it comes to fire safety, every second counts. That's why we're proud to present the UL-listed FireNET Plus – an intelligent addressable, 1 to 2 loop fire alarm panel.

At Hochiki, we understand that when it comes to fire safety, every second counts. That's why we're proud to present the UL-listed FireNET Plus – an intelligent addressable, 1 to 2 loop fire alarm panel.
Three types of Cause & Effect programming — Action, Disablement, and Test — give installers granular control over how the system responds to events. Combined with the Loop Explorer Windows configuration utility and an Auto Learn feature, commissioning and ongoing programming are fast and straightforward.
Dual RS-485 buses separate panel-to-panel networking from peripheral device communication, supporting up to 500 network-wide software zones. Serial and graphic annunciator options, alongside a built-in RS-232 port for PC programming, give designers multiple ways to extend visibility and control across a site.
FireNET Plus supports one or two SLC loops, each capable of handling up to 127 sensors and modules plus 127 analogue sounder bases — a possible 254 points per loop. With up to 800 addresses and sub-addresses per panel and network capability for up to 64 panels, the platform scales from single-building installations to large networked estates without changing technology.
Every device on the loop is digitised and processed using Hochiki's proprietary communication protocol, DCP, giving fast, robust data exchange between panel and field devices. Standard, unshielded cable can be used throughout the SLC loop, removing the cost and installation complexity of shielded or twisted-pair wiring.
Hochiki's patented sensor design performs automatic daily calibration and drift compensation, keeping detection accuracy consistent over the life of the device. Programmable sensitivity levels by device, automatic day/night sensitivity switching, and an alarm verification feature work together to reduce nuisance activations while maintaining fast, reliable response to genuine fires.
FireNET Plus is compatible with Hochiki's full range of SLC loop devices, including photoelectric, heat, and multi-criteria sensors, analogue sounder bases, duct detectors, contact monitoring modules, relay modules, supervised output modules, and conventional zone modules — allowing a single loop to combine detection, notification, and monitoring in one integrated system.
Because SLC loops run on standard, unshielded wire, installers save on cable costs and labour time without compromising signal integrity — a direct saving that scales across every loop in a project.
Automatic drift compensation, day/night sensitivity modes, and alarm verification work together to filter out nuisance sources, protecting building occupants from unnecessary evacuations and protecting the reputation of the installer and end user alike.
With network capability for up to 64 panels and 500 network-wide zones, FireNET Plus is equally suited to a single retail unit or a multi-building campus — protecting the initial investment as a site expands.
Auto Learn, the Loop Explorer Windows utility, and flexible Cause & Effect programming reduce the time engineers spend on-site during commissioning and future modifications, lowering the total cost of ownership over the system's life.
At the core of FireNET Plus is Hochiki's advanced Digital Communication Protocol, which digitises analogue information from every sensor and module on the loop for fast, robust, and reliable data exchange. This digitised approach underpins the panel's automatic daily calibration and drift compensation routine, allowing each detector to continuously self-correct for environmental changes such as dust and airflow — sustaining accurate, stable detection performance without manual recalibration.
This intelligence extends across the wider system architecture. Dual RS-485 buses keep panel networking and peripheral device communication independent, supporting reliable operation across networks of up to 64 panels, while the 4-amp integrated power supply and dual Class B NAC circuits — compatible with Gentex, System Sensor, Wheelock, and Amseco sync protocols — ensure dependable performance under full system load. Together, these technologies give specifiers a platform that is both highly configurable and engineered for long-term reliability.
