FIRElink Customer Training - 16th July

This course is designed to give delegates a full understanding of the FIRElink Range of Aspirating Smoke Detectors. The course will start with an introduction to the detectors and work right through to a ‘hands on’ session where attendees can programme and configure an aspirator using the relevant programming software.

Introduction and demonstration of FIRElink software’s

•PipeCAD Design Software 
•FIRElink Remote Programming Software 


Practical session using PipeCAD and FIRElink Remote Programming software’s
•Basic pipe layout design 
•Pipe work calculations
•Detector configuration



On completion of this course attendees will be issued with a certifcate of attendance.



1. Attendees will be issued with the following items at the beginning of the training:

FIRElink Information & Software Disc (including both FIRElink Remote and PipeCAD software’s)

2. As this course requires the programming of an aspirator unit, using software each attendee will need to bring a laptop with the following minimum specification:


  • Processor: Pentium 300MHz
  • RAM: 64Mb RAM
  • Hard Disk: 5Mb Free Disk Space
  • Serial Port/USB –Serial Adaptor
  • Operating System: Windows™ 7 or Above
  • Display minimum 600x800 16-bit colour, 1024x768 recommended.
