Hochiki Europe, world leaders in fire detection manufacturing introduces a brand new concept to the UK market - FIREscape lite ® - an innovative new self-diagnosing, mains-powered, LED-based emergency lighting solution, based on the world-proven intelligent lighting system, FIREscape®.

FIREscape lite ® is a unique, highly cost effective and environmentally friendly emergency lighting solution, combining the existing FIREscape luminaire and exit sign ranges with a uniquely designed ‘step-down' transformer, allowing them to be mains-powered.

The lighting units and exit signs can be fitted at any location where a connection to the lighting circuit can be made. By combining the existing lighting units with the transformer, a spacer, a mounting base and the integral back-up battery, the resulting self-contained, self-testing unit can provide instant compliance to lighting standards.

What does FIREscape lite have to offer?

Reduced running costs

A FIREscape lite ® exit sign consumes less than 0.5W, including the power loss. A similar 8W fluorescent light exit sign will consume approximately 12W. When compared to 230V LED lights, FIREscape Lite® products save more than 50% of energy.

Helps to Lower Carbon Emissions

The lower energy consumption directly correlates with lower CO2e emissions. For example, replacing 100 230V fluorescent exit luminaires with FIREscape® LED-based exit lights, CO2e emissions would be reduced by 2,100 KG annually.
