Internal Sales Support

An rare opportunity has become available for an experienced Internal Sales Support employee working on a part time basis. In this role, the successful candidate will provide a invaluable contribution to the overall UK sales team performance by assisting to develop and support sales in low spend accounts and provide a friendly and professional key point of contact to the team and customers through regular telephone contact.

Role Purpose

To provide consistent, informative and professional management of customer accounts whilst achieving monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets through personal sales achievement.

Who you’ll report to

UK Sales Manager


What you’ll be doing:

  • Development of sales of low spend accounts
  • Development of customer relations
  • Ensuring customer contact is maintained by effective daily management and call rate monitoring
  • Regular sales support to the external sales team
  • Occasional accompanied field visits to customers
  • Monitoring and controlling customer credit
  • Maintain regular contact with UK Sales Manager
  • Key liaison between the Sales team and the Supply Chain/Marketing/Accounts/Business Development departments
  • Telephone promotion of any company special offers into customer accounts
  • Telephone introduction of new products into new and existing customer accounts
  • General sales administration
  • Input relevant data onto the SAP system
  • Provide reports to UK Sales Manager as and when requested

Person Specification


We are looking for individuals who are highly motivated and have a passion to contribute to the success of Hochiki. In addition to this, you will possess the following:




  • 5 GCSE’s  (or equivalent) of grades A-C (including Maths and English)



  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a sales support function
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel


  • Knowledge of SAP (Business 1)
