Export Customer Service Coordinator - Supply Chain

We are looking for individuals who are highly motivated and have a passion to contribute to the success of Hochiki. In addition to this, you will possess the following:

Department: Supply Chain

Who You’ll Report To: Export Customer service Team Leader

Role Purpose:

Responsible for sales support of Hochiki’s products to Export and Republic of Ireland customers.

Who you’ll be working with:

  • Export customers
  • Internal Departments, up to Management level
  • Freight Forwarders

Detail of Role:

 

  • Processing customer orders for the Export market using the company’s ERP system
  • Sending order confirmations daily
  • Systematically following up on Export customer enquiries and quotation requests received
  • Releasing customer orders to the warehouse for dispatch
  • Liaising with local freight forwarders obtaining quotations for shipping and arranging collection of goods and obtaining proof of deliveries
  • Close liaison is necessary with other departments, e.g.: Purchasing, Customer Services, Planning, RSM’s, Credit Control, Warehouse & Goods In
  • Assisting customer service staff, as appropriate when workload permits
  • Any other duties as required by the Customer Service Team Leader as appropriate to allow for the smooth running of the department
  • Calling and emailing customers with order status updates
  • Managing and dealing with the daily call intake

Personal Specification

Qualifications:

  • Essential: GCSE in English and Mathematics (or Equivalent)

Experience:

  • Essential: Training will be provided as required
  • Desirable: Previous experience in a similar role within a Supply Chain department

Knowledge:

  • Essential: Export Customer Service skills
  • Desirable: Fire Detection products

 

  • Essential: Computer Literate with knowledge of Windows operating system
  • Desirable: SAP
