Quality Solutions That Reduce Costs

Hochiki is renowned for providing highly reliable and superior quality solutions for fire detection. Its new Smart-Fix+ range provides a rapid-fix solution for fire system installations through innovative design technology without compromising product performance.

Save time and money with Hochiki’s new rapid-fix modular Plug & Play System - changing the way the construction industry views fire system cabling.

Hochiki introduces a complete electrical cabling solution for fire detection specifically designed for all modern methods of construction that are used in today’s continually evolving marketplace

What Is The Smart-Fix+

It is a fully engineered cabling solution for fire detection system installations. Cables supplied in pre-determined lengths at 1m increments, with pre-fitted connectors at either end of the cable simply plug into the Smart-Fix+ range of back boxes which are pre-wired to Hochiki’s fire system devices. These specially designed back boxes lock into place using the patented, innovative ‘rotalock’ mechanism.

Rapid, Flexible System

Using only a small number of pluggable components the Smart-Fix+ Range provides a pre-engineered, safe and rapid installation straight from the box. The solution delivers a reduction of direct site labour, maximises efficiency, facilitates project management and accelerates programmes.

Factory tested assemblies reduce snagging and onsite testing/ commissioning

Eradicate cabling errors using pluggable, mechanically coded & lockable connections

Peace of mind from quality assured products and services

Rapid installation allowing accessories to be fitted once

With no onsite cable preparation, safer methods of installation are achieved by reducing the need for blades and cutters

Numerous cost benefits, reduced onsite labour and improved programme

The Range

The Smart-Fix+ Range includes modular plug & play solutions for analogue addressable sensor bases, call points, input/output modules and a surface back box, with more Hochiki products being introduced.

Where Is It Best Used?

Buildings across all sectors from healthcare, education, retail, commerce to industrial.

The Patented ‘Rotalock’ Mechanism

Each unit in the Smart-Fix+ Range features the Apex Wiring Solutions patented ‘Rotalock’ fixing mechanism. Once the Sensor Base or Call Point unit is located into the fixing cavity the fixing screws are tightened. This causes the ‘Rotalock’ wings to turn away from the unit and tighten behind the fixing surface, for example a ceiling tile in the case of the Sensor Base unit, or a plaster board wall in the case of the Call Point unit.
