The University of Kent - Medway Campus

The University of Kent has invested millions of pounds in new, purpose-built amenities, as well as the renovation of significant protected buildings, which attracts students from all over the world.

A number of the campus buildings are subject to preservation orders and are Grade II listed.  This presented Johnson Controls with a challenging installation as a variety of different installation methods had to be employed.  Also due to the diverse nature and uses of the campus buildings, for example laboratories, canteens and libraries, a variety of detection principles were needed.
