This first phase involved the commissioning of two new cutting-edge SMT placement machines. These robotic machines are used for the high-speed, high-precision placing of surface-mount devices onto the numerous different PCBs that are required for Hochiki Europe's ever-expanding range of products. One of the new machines uses sophisticated laser technology to place resistors and capacitors, while the other is an ultra-precise SMT placement machine that utilises the latest camera technology to carry out the more accurate and complex alignment of minute components.
