Hochiki Corporation, parent company of Hochiki
Europe is paving the way for a sustainable workplace. Based in
various locations around Japan, Hochiki has invested over £1.3
Million in solar panels and a wind turbine to produce power for
the Miyagi factory, Kakuda-City, in the Miyagi Prefecture in
Japan.
The height of the wind turbine is
an impressive 29.5 metres tall and, adorned with the distinctive
Hochiki logo, this environmental gesture can be seen for many
miles around. Remarkably the wind turbine and solar panels
provide Miyagi's factory with 8% of its total power, producing
over 44000kWh per year.
This investment displays how
Hochiki is committed to creating a more sustainable world,
reducing its carbon footprint and saving energy.
